Sixteen of our littlest residents tried their hands at a special kind of construction, at our first Gingerbread Workshop on Friday, 6 December.
Under the watchful eye of Executive Chef Gary Opperman and Events Manager, Chantal Geddes, the children were each handed a kit containing the ‘slabs’ of their gingerbread houses, ‘cement’ (icing sugar) and – of course – a few bags of sweeties to finish them off!
While a few gingerbread men were munched before they got to stand outside the finished houses, our little builders had an absolute ball putting their houses together.
