Our Golf Course is often called the “jewel” of the Country Club. And, yes, while it is an absolute beaut: it is not the first thing you see on arrival…the Pro Shop is. We decided to refresh the space late last year, and we are thrilled with the results. Take a look at our upgraded Pro Shop.
Space
To begin with, the Pro Shop needed more space. The first step was to break down the wall that had once separated the old Pro Shop from the former accounts and administration office. This created much needed “breathing room” for the new shop. The wall was then replaced with a “trophy case”, which allows us to display the Club’s trophies and provide a view into the shop. The entrance was also widened, creating a more welcoming experience.
Merchandising
With some assistance from resident, Laura Watts, we re-organised the merchandise: our regulars like Cutter & Buck and River Island are back, with a new, branded Adidas section. We have a few fantastic new brands coming on, soon, so watch this space!
Hello, There!
Possibly the most striking change: our new Point of Sale counter. With its deep green tiling and overhanging, golf-ball inspired lights, this is a smart spot for our golfers to book their tee times and check in.
Change It Up
The change/fitting room has moved to the far corner of the shop, adjacent to the Sports Manager’s new office. This, of course, is wrapped in an eye-catching image of our Course by Chris Allan Photography.
Putt, Putt, Putt…
Our new putting green allows golfers a test run before they hit the course. While you’re there, you may chat to our Pros, Sport Manager Warren Abery or Pro Shop Manager Ryan Schierhout about the best fit for you.
