VACANCY: Stores Administrator

Simbithi Country Club has the following vacancy 

STORES ADMINISTRATOR 

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Ensure internal F&B stock management processes are followed 
  • Maintain accurate records of stock requisition registers to account for stock issued. Conduct stock reconciliation daily. 
  • Conduct random stock count for back of house stock. Assists with the investigation of stock variances 
  • Accurate record keeping of all orders placed on a daily basis. 
  • Ensure stock received is accounted for as per quality/quantity of stock order that was placed. Accurate record keeping of stock deliveries and anomalies. Liaise with supplier to rectify where appropriate. 
  • Ensure GRV process followed to record stock received. Ensure that stock is packaged and stored in a proper manner and appropriate location. Submit GRV, signed order sheet and supplier delivery note/invoice to Club Accountant. Ensure accurate record keeping of these. 
  • Facilitate stock transfer in line with appropriate process to record/issue stock and account for stock movement 
  • Assist in managing cost of sales within requisite limits 
  • Generates reports as required 
  • Ensure all filing is done in a timely manner 
  • Ensure data handling is compliant in terms of POPI & PAIA 
  • Assist with composition costing of new dishes in line with latest prices 
  • Record and track Credit Note listings 
  • Any adhoc work in relation to the position. 

Requirements: 

  • Matric with Maths and/or Accounting 
  • 3 years experience as a Stores Administrator in a similar Industry 
  • MS Office Proficiency (Intermediate Excel Skills) 
  • Tertiary qualification in Stores Management, Procurement or related being advantageous
