“Do all things in love”.

This was the slogan emblazoned on the front of the shirts worn by the formiddable ‘Simbithi Choppers’ on Wednesday, 27 February 2022 as they joined a group of locals to participate in a heartwarming community social investment project.

Arranged by Against Drug and Child Abuse (ADCA)’s Rex Hunt, the initiative saw many, armed with knives, chopping boards and vegetables, gather at the Lifestyle SuperSpar in Ballito to make a mammoth pot of delicious vegetable soup.

The soup was delivered to grateful residents of the North Coast who needed a hot meal and some comfort after the devastation of the #KZNFloods.

Our Simbithi Choppers were led by residents, Marlynee Naicker and Laura Watts. Thank you for your efforts, ladies, and well done to all who pitched in to assist and donated vegetables.

We are #SimbithiStrong!
