Friends, family, colleagues, and residents gathered to say a formal farewell to our former General Manager, Malcolm Samuel, recently. Messages from far and wide were shared in tribute to Malcolm after 16 years at Simbithi.
On behalf of residents, Terry Dearling thanked Malcolm for his commitment to Simbithi. “As a resident I have watched Malcolm grow as our Estate has grown. He has risen to the challenges, and there have been many that I am aware of, but know there are probably hundreds more that, as a resident, I would never know about as they are solved ‘silently’ in the background. We will miss you more than we realise but you have delivered for Simbithi, and it is time for you to spread your wings, and be given new challenges that ignite your spirit. It is time for you to soar. On behalf of the residents, we wish you all the joy, happiness and success as you move forward.”
On Malcolm’s last day at the HOA, staff gathered to honour him by planting a tree at the front of the admin building.
Thank you to all who joined us to say goodbye!
