An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Supervisor at the Simbithi Country Club.

Reporting to the Simbithi Eco Estate Homeowners Association – Shared Services Office; The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance and cleaning of the Simbithi Country Club facilities.

Key responsibilities include but is not limited to:

  • Performs daily maintenance of the Club’s electrical systems, equipment, plumbing, and painting.
  • Ensure all service areas comply with safety requirements and Simbithi quality standards.
  • Prioritises daily and weekly tasks according to operational needs.
  • Maintains the asset register and plans for the disposal and repair of assets.
  • Manages assets in line with service level guarantees and ensures the delivery of maintenance service contracts. Addresses any issues of non-delivery promptly.
  • Prepares monthly payments to service providers and submit them to finance for payment after quality inspections. Follows the Simbithi purchasing and accounting standard operating procedures.
  • Plans and executes preventative maintenance and refurbishments within budget.
  • Conducts risk analysis and report findings to management.
  • Consults with shared services on maintenance matters beyond their expertise.
  • Implements contingency plans as approved by management.
  • Be on standby to attend to emergencies as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications in maintenance, engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of five years in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably within a country club or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with asset management and maintenance planning.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and quality standards.
