Events Waiter

Simbithi Country Club is looking for a customer-focused and energetic Events Waiter to join our hospitality team. This role is ideal for someone who is service-driven and passionate about delivering an exceptional dining experience to our members and guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the setup, preparation, and breakdown of event venues.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linen, and equipment according to function requirements.
• Ensure event and service areas are clean, organised, and presented to a high standard at all times.
• Welcome, seat, and assist guests in a professional and friendly manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure they are delivered according to event requirements.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining exceptional customer service standards.
• Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Assist with the service of large groups, special functions, and VIP guests.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness

Minimum Requirements:

• Matric required
• Experience on Club Master or similar hospitality POS system
• 5 years’ experience in the hospitality industry
