It was anything but unlucky when we officially re-opened the doors to our newly renovated Simbithi Pro Shop on Friday, 13th December.

Following a three-month renovation period, the Pro Shop was given a fresh, contemporary new look that delighted golfers and residents who attended the re-opening. This forms one of the most integral segments of Phase 1 of our Country Club Upgrade. (You may read more about the first segment, the re-opening of our Dragonfly Conference Centre, here.)

The new Pro Shop is larger, as the old shop was extended into the former accounts office. A new trophy case and putting green, where you are able to get properly fitted before you make your purchase, are just a couple of the new shop’s features.

Speaking at the re-opening, General Manager Malcolm Samuel and Chairman Justin Clarke thanked the team who worked relentlessly to ensure the Pro Shop’s re-opening in time for season: particularly Technical Manager Nicky Misra, who oversaw the project, Sports Manager Warren Abery and his team and IT Manager, Nicolas Links. The Golf Commmitee was also thanked for their support.

Resident, Laura Watts, was also thanked for her assistance with merchandising the new space.
