After a week of incessant rain, Mister Sun showed his cheerful face on Saturday morning, 14th December, for our Annual Kids’ Market. The market, a firm favourite among our community, is always the final event on our community calendar.
Eighteen little vendors arrived on the Country Club deck at 8am to set their stalls up, and were trading by 9am. Everything from bath bombs, to chocolate chip cookies, handmade Christmas decorations, cupcakes, toffee apples, hair accessories, second-hand golf balls, rocky road and pancakes was on sale.
While moms and dads kept watchful eyes, it was the pint-sized entrepreneurs who put in the hard work, and sold their wares. Much pocket money was made for Christmas, without a doubt!
Thank you to all our residents who came down with their families (grannies, grandpas and everyone in between) to support our children. Thank you, also, to our golfers who graciously shared the deck with our children, and who supported the stalls.
This event brings our community calendar to an end for 2019. A huge thank you to all who supported each event this year, and we look forward to having more fun in 2020!
