How many times have you visited a restaurant and thought… gosh, it would be glorious to be able to recreate this at home? 

As Summer sneaks its way out to make way for Autumn, which will open the door for Winter, we put the salads away and find comfort in big, steaming bowls of pasta. 

Simbithi Country Club Executive Sous Chef Louis Lesch recently hosted one of his popular Cooking with Chef Louis classes in the Dragonfly Kitchen. 

He was joined by a group of residents eager to learn the art of homemade pasta and graciously taught them to make basic pasta dough, potato gnocchi, pasta shapes and filled pasta.
